Toggl excels at time tracking. ark.plan connects it to your clients.
From time to invoice, natively
Your tracked hours become pre-filled quote lines with correct description, quantity and hourly rate. No CSV export, no copy-pasting between Toggl and your invoicing tool.
Native GitHub integration
Connect your GitHub repos, arkplan detects untracked commits and creates pre-filled time entries (description from commit, estimated hours). Toggl has no native GitHub link — only browser extensions or third-party integrations.
CRM, calendar and invoicing included
arkplan is more than a time tracker: clients, appointments, projects and invoices live alongside your time entries. Toggl is excellent at time, but leaves the rest to other tools.

-
Is ark.plan's time tracker as complete as Toggl?
No — Toggl is stronger for pure time tracking (advanced dashboards, trends, insights, auto-detection, many integrations). ark.plan's time tracker is simpler, but enough for the vast majority of agencies and freelancers. ark.plan's edge: it plugs directly into your CRM, calendar and invoicing. Short version: Toggl if you want the best pure time tool, ark.plan if you want everything in one place. -
Can I import my data from Toggl?
Toggl lets you export your entries as CSV. ark.plan has no automatic Toggl import, but you can use these exports as historical reference during your transition. We help you migrate if needed. -
Toggl has a native mobile app. What about ark.plan?
ark.plan is a progressive web app (PWA): it runs through your mobile browser, installable on the home screen, with push notifications. Starting/stopping a timer between meetings takes one tap. Toggl however has proper native apps (iOS/Android/desktop) with advanced offline features — if you track on a remote job site, Toggl remains more suitable.
