ark.plan is a Swiss SaaS for agencies, freelancers and service SMBs. We built it to answer a concrete need: manage appointments, contacts, projects, time and invoices from a single tool — without stacking five foreign subscriptions that export your data at every renewal.
Who we are
ark.plan is a product of ark.swiss Sàrl, a limited liability company based in canton Vaud, founded in 2019. We are a small team based in St-Légier, Switzerland. Our core craft: custom web application development for Swiss SMBs. ark.plan is our long-term SaaS product, built to last ten years rather than three.
A modular platform
ark.plan bundles the building blocks of a service agency or practice: calendar & appointment booking, CRM, project management, time tracking, Swiss VAT-compliant invoicing (8.1%), push notifications and Google Calendar integration. All in one tool, in your language, on a Swiss domain.
Each Plan (Starter, Pro, Business) activates a set of modules aligned with your stage. A freelancer does not need invoicing on day one; a ten-person agency needs the team view. You change Plan when your needs change — not the other way around.
Technical principles
- Isolated instance per customer — every customer has a dedicated PostgreSQL database and dedicated file storage. No multi-tenancy; no cross-tenant leakage possible by design.
- Hosted in Switzerland — Infomaniak (datacenters in Lausanne & Geneva), ISO 27001 certified and running on 100% renewable hydroelectricity. Your data never leaves Swiss territory.
- Native Swiss VAT — invoicing compliant with the Swiss VAT Act, automatic calculation, PDF export ready for your accountant. No third-party plugin, no fragile configuration.
- Open calendar — two-way Google Calendar sync, push notifications on iOS and Android (native Web Push), public booking link for your clients without accounts.
- Longevity — stack chosen to last: Go on the server, Vue 3 on the client, PostgreSQL for data. No fashion trends, no dependencies that vanish every quarter.
We use it ourselves
We use ark.plan every day to run ark.swiss Sàrl: appointment booking with clients, sales pipeline tracking, time logging on every project, recurring invoicing. When a detail annoys us, we fix it — and you benefit at the next update. That is the difference between a tool built by its users and a tool built by product managers in meetings.
The ark.swiss family
ark.plan belongs to a small ecosystem of Swiss tools developed by ark.swiss Sàrl: ark.plan (calendar, CRM, projects, time, invoicing — this site), ark.stock (pro inventory management) and ark.flow (accounting and budgeting). All three share the same Swiss infrastructure and the same per-customer isolation. You can start with ark.plan and activate other tools later, without re-registering.
