[ Time tracking module ]

Every minute tracked, ready to invoice.

// Timer

One click to start, one click to stop.

Each entry is tied to a project (with CHF/h rate) and an optional contact. Colored tags for categorization, billable/non-billable flag, free-form description. Running timers show live on your dashboard — impossible to forget one.

  • Projects with CHF/h rate and budget (hours or CHF)
  • Manual entry with start & end date/time
  • Colored tags and free description per entry
  • Billable flag independent of project

// GitHub

Turn your commits into billable hours.

Connect your GitHub account, pick repos linked to a project. ark.plan detects untracked commits, proposes them in batch, and creates pre-filled time entries (description from the commit message, via AI if you want). Perfect to catch up a week where you coded without a timer.

  • Connected GitHub repos list
  • Detection of commits not yet tracked
  • Batch entry creation from selected commits
  • AI-suggested descriptions from commit message
// Reports

Weekly grid, per-project reports, CSV export.

Spreadsheet-like weekly grid to log 5 projects across 5 days quickly. Time & revenue reports per project and client, budget-overrun detection. CSV export for your accountant or analytics tool of choice. Direct link to invoicing: unbilled hours surface in quote prefilling.

  • Weekly 5×5 grid view for quick entry
  • Reports per project, client, period
  • CSV export for your accountant
  • Automatic quote prefill from tracked hours

Frequently asked questions

3 frequently asked questions. Can’t find an answer? Write to us — we reply within 24 h.

  • Can I use time tracking without linking it to invoicing?
    Yes. Time tracking works with projects, reports and CSV exports. Linking it to invoicing avoids duplicate entry when it is included in the scope.
  • Does the GitHub integration work with GitLab or Bitbucket?
    No, currently GitHub only. GitLab/Bitbucket integration is on the roadmap but not yet in production.
  • How is time tracking scoped?
    The quote specifies time tracking, projects, tags, timer, CSV export and the selected GitHub connection.
